A key step in Robert Moss’s Active Dreaming is taking action to honor the dream. Action plans aren’t just for dreams. Anytime we receive a significant teaching or guidance from the Universe we can make an action plan.
When we actually take action to honor a dream or a synchronicity, we signal to ourselves and to the Powers that spoke to us that we are committed to living our lives in the fullest sense, that we are ready for magic, and that yes, we’d like more guidance to keep the process moving forward.
Action plans can be fun. In fact it’s best if they energize you. The point is not to add chores or academic activity to your life. The point is to do something meaningful, something powerful.
My action plans have ranged from sewing regalia to crafting ice cream to writing a phrase on a notecard. One of my most common action plans is to call or text a loved one after I’ve dreamt of them.
