I love hearing dream reports! It seems that every person has at least one memorable dream, even if it’s from their childhood. When we acknowledge our dreams by keeping a dream journal and sharing our dreams we invite more dreams into our lives.
When telling your dream use the opportunity to enhance your story telling skills. It’s fine to review notes from your journal, but when you tell the story let it flow from your heart and don’t read from the journal. The version you tell may indeed vary from the written version. This is fine! Trust that variations happen for a reason.
Tell the dream simply as the dream. It’s distracting to explain who the characters are and why you think they are in the dream when you are telling it. Don’t worry, all that will be examined in the questions following the telling of the dream.
